Dreaming about old jobs again

I have a love / hate relationship with these dreams. This one was different as the store was different. I remember that everyone worked as a team which was a far cry from the truth.
At the end the manager asked me to stay so I could fill out my paperwork for returning to work.. Except he gave me paperwork as if I had never been hired. My pencil broke and they make you pay for boxes. I'm not sure what that part of it was about.
A man asked me to move in with him too. He was one of my new co-workers, someone I'd never met before. I had to tell him thanks but no thanks
Odd dream!

That was such a strange part of the dream. He didn't know my living situation at all, just said "I have a house and a spare bedroom. You'll have to pay me to live there, but it's yours if you want it."

Isn't it weird dreaming about old jobs - it's almost a feeling of being back in that time and you never left. I've had dreams of old bosses and co-workers too, but the job environment looked different - though not different to me while in the dream. If only we got paychecks for having these work dreams

I would love to get paid for these weird dreams! I have dreamed of this particular job a million times over. I think one of my favorites involved the stock clerks placing things on the shelves like a game of connect four.

@ScribbledAdNauseum There are times when work can be a game 
. I often (still) dream of my last work place - I quit 16 years ago just before my daughter was born. And both of my bosses passed away since. Sometimes I wonder if they are visiting me in my dreams

I hate work and school dreams. I'm so glad I'm not working anymore. My husband kiddingly said he's going to send me out to get a job. NO WAY!

You're probably right. Though I also consider this theme in my dream to be a "stress dream." I've been stressing just a teensy bit about money so my subconscious helpfully provided me with my old job.
