Do you find yourself stressing over little things?

A couple of years ago when we had a lot of ice in our yard and driveway I fell when trying to grab our trash can from off the snowbank in the front yard to take it to the side of the garage. Two weeks ago I choose not to take out the garbage because I have to do it when it's dark when I get home from work Sunday night or early Monday morning, and I didn't want to fall.
Last week I had to take it out so it didn't build up too much. Instead of putting it into the snow bank I've been putting it on the end of the driveway. I was able to drive by it last week before the trash people came but this week I also have a larger recycling bin to take out too. It wouldn't be a big deal except I have a dental appt at nine am on Monday.
The regular trash usually gets picked up by 8 am but the recycling can be anytime. I may get both out after I get home tomorrow night or early Monday morning and I can move the trash bin back up to the garage before leaving for my appt and then move the recycling bin to the small area I shoveled out where the trash was first.
Thank you everyone for letting me get that out of my system. Now hopefully I can sleep without thinking about it all night long.
It'll be my first dental cleaning since covid began last year. I have a lot to do Monday before work so you may not see me until my break later in the day.

So do I. I may have to opt to work Sundays earlier so I can take care of it Sunday nights when it's still light outside. But I guess in another month it should still be light by seven pm.

Honestly, I really do sometimes. And now that I stay more at home, there are a lot of things I see better now than before.

What do you mean about seeing certain things better now than before?

@MarshaMusselman Since I am working from home, I can see a lot of things in the house that stress me a lot.

Well overthinking is short of the same thing. It doesn't present itself as stress but often can be.

The one thing I always stressed about was when I lived in NYC and we had those other side of the street car rules and at that time I had a car now that was stressful Good luck with the dental cleaning

@MarshaMusselman well, that can be stressful, In cities like NY, it means that about twice a week there is street cleaning so no one can leave their car parked on either the left or right side of the street. Therefore if you got to sleep at night knowing your car is on the wrong side then early in the morning you have to rush out of your apartment and get your car moved and it is always a problem to find another space etc.

I'm not familiar with street car rules.
I'm not stressed about the dental cleaning itself. I just wish I made it a day when the trash wouldn't be at the road but I wasn't thinking about trash when I made the appt.

Now that I've written it down I'm hoping I can sleep through the night tomorrow until it's time to get up. I've been taking it out on the morning since it will get lighter little by little.

Certain things don't bother me others keep me awake at night. I'll have to remember to do my appt a different day or later in the winter months.

If I fell taking out the trash I might be sweating taking it out again too.

Well the bigger things are more of a given. I might do better on those now that our finances are doing better. Money used to be my main stressor.

The way we do it is easy in the summer months and for those that have a two car driveway to the road. Our driveway is two cars but only 1.5 at the road and in winter is not enough room bit both bins.
Ours gets picked up monthly. Our trash weekly.

Years ago I stressed about money and many other things. I don't think I get stressed as much as I used to before.

You want to learn to let things go or it can affect your physical and mental health one day in the future.

Yes, I worry and plan just this way. It is great to spill the beans and talk about it here.
