A short rest... weekend mood sets in

It's 4:43 PM here. And I am just done with the other online interview session. And it went well. 
So the two day long event for educators and parents has come to end. And
yay! It was a successful one. We had a lot of participants and many were externals from different schools and parents from different cities and few abroad too. As a host and organizers,we deserve a pat on our back
I thought of making this post before I put my laptop to rest. Though my afternoon power nap time is over, I will take some rest stretching my back.
. I need to change from elegant saree to some comfortable dress.
And we get a holiday tomorrow. Tuesday is a national holiday on account of our Republic day. So that's two days holiday for us.
When everyone is coming out of weekend mood, we are getting into one.
And we deserve it after so much hardwork, effort and long working hours on weekends. But this weekend was an enlightening and enriching one as a parent and educator.
Hope all well in your corner of mylot world I will be back here in late evening.

Thanks Valerie. I am looking forward to it. We worked extra hours after school to organize it and make it happen. It has been going on since the beginning of January. We deserve a rest now

@arunima25 I know how much preparations needed for this online program. We too organized a shilpashala (a kind of workshop) for ladies and elder girls on January 10. It went very well. As it was online we had speakers from Kerala too.

I'm glad the time went well. For some reason, I thought you were interviewing two people for a position! Tuesday is a holiday for Australia too as it's the day the English landed on our shores and proclaimed the land their own. The name 'Australia Day' will probably get changed one day in the future as the indigenous people already call it 'Invasion Day'.

It was a conversation with these people. They delivered their lectures on the previous day. I made a list of questions that audiences sent in chatbox and did a conversation/ interview sort of thing .
I think that it logically needs to be remembered as invasion day. Someone claiming our land is not something any one will accept to be remembered otherwise.

Weekend was not free for me with long day event,webinars and this online conversation/interview.

So is Monday a declared Holiday at your school? Two Holidays at a go is good. We had some year end holidays in December end, plus 1 leave in Mid January so I might take a leave sometime in February now.

We have been working a lot since beginning of this month to organize it and market. And teachers definitely need a rest after two long days on Saturday and Sunday.
