Down and out

Just since my last post the internet has been down again. Just briefly, but it is annoying. Today has been a down and out day. We arrived at church to find folding chairs set up by a big glass front window. There was no electricity in the entire church. No lights, sound system, etc. No fan to blow the heat from the furnace. However, just as the energy company had said, the electricity to that entire area was back up by 10:30. So we had regular worship after all. When we got home I began to run hot water, for dishes. It would only get warm. The pilot light was out on the hot water heater for that end of the house. How annoying. Hubby was able to relight it, though, after allowing some time for any possible fumes to dissipate. So, although I do not normally put up two posts this close together I felt I should be on my toes and get this in. Then I will go to bed. We are not having bad winter weather here, at least not yet, but I have to suspect with electric and internet going out there must be some somewhere that is affecting us. It is predicted. I had the back door open for quite a while yesterday and must have had a breeze blow out the pilot light for the hot water heater.So that explains that.
