Day 167
Promise 628
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. (KJV)
Do your actions cause grief to the people who love you? Rifts in families and relationships take place because people refuse to listen to those in authority and choose to go their own way forsaking everyone who loves them.
Paul told the Ephesians not to grieve the Holy Spirit. Doing so would cause a rift between them and God.
As Christians, you can cause the light to go out of your life by trying to hold on to your past. When you try to be a Christian your way instead of listening to the Holy Spirit, He will leave you and the light of Christ will no longer shine in your life. You can say you’re a Christian, but if your actions don’t bear record of a changed life, no one will believe you. It is the Holy Spirit who seals your salvation.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
You are not beyond hope. You can turn your life around and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. Cast away your past which binds you and put on the mantle of Jesus in your life. Let the Holy Spirit lead you.
Satan’s purpose is to destroy your relationship with Jesus Christ. He does that by telling you that you can do things your way and still maintain your Christianity.
John 10:10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The Holy Spirit’s purpose is to lead you to Jesus Christ and seal you for the day of redemption. When you grasp the life of Jesus, turning away from your past, the Holy Spirit will live in you and instruct you in the way you should live. Then the light of Jesus Christ will shine in you. Your life will bear the fruit of a life focused on Him and people will know the truth of your changed life.
Let’s pray: Father, Your way not mine. Let Your light shine in me so people will see You when they see me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

That's some wise words on the working of the Holy Spirit, in our lives, if we allow it to so work.
Love lives fully in God, and when we grieve it not living in us apparently that fully too, we ignore the power of the Holy Spirit that connects us to that same love, and guides us in living from it.
We should not separate our self from this Holy Spirit ever in our life.
We should live with it, by it, continuously so.
Then we will shine with the light of love and God in us too, as you said also.
