I really wish they'd stop doing this

I hate it when the UPS (and it seems like it's always the UPS) takes a package and presents it to the USPS for final delivery.
Like, don't you guys realize how much slower the postal service is?
I've already been waiting since the 21st for tracking to update with UPS, but then they had to go and send the package to the USPS which is famous for having terrible tracking
My poor yarn.. Out there all alone waiting for it's home.

The USPS and the UPS help one another, whenever they get a heavy load to deliver.

I would be more understanding if the tracking with the postal service was better. I've seen my packages sit in my local post office for three days before being delivered.

@kobesbuddy I feel for them and for the postal workers who are strained, but something has to give.

@ScribbledAdNauseum They are experiencing a big mess, just like everyone else.

That's extremely frustrating when you're waiting for your yarn. The USPS is horrible and I hate having to mail anything these days. Thats why I've been hesitant to list anything on Ebay. I don't want the hassle if a package is late or gets lost. I do miss the little bit of money I earned selling things here and there.

I hope something is done about the USPS. More funding or more machinery or something. It's frustrating and I am sure it's really put a damper on so many businesses.

@Marilynda1225 I hoped they would improve too, but if anything, it has gotten worse. Something has got to give. Maybe they are still struggling with a backlog of other things, but more mail sorters need to be hired and funds need to be found for the postal service too.

@ScribbledAdNauseum i really thought things would improve once the holidays were over but it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

I checked my email this morning and the yarn is on the mail truck for delivery today. It's a beautiful yarn and I can't wait to find something to use it with.

I agree with you there. The mail really is snail male as of late. And, to think, I need to make another amazon order soon. Fun.

No, it's not. I ordered a few things, and received one a week earlier than scheduled.@ScribbledAdNauseum

I will most likely use amazon soon to order a gift for a friend's mom. We have amaazon drivers delivering to us though, so it's not so bad.

I had no idea UPS did that! Most people use UPS because they don't want to mess with USPS to start with.

It's happened to me more in the past year and a half than it did before. I hate it. I prefer when a package is set to come through Fed Ex as they usually deliver from start to finish.

Yes, I have a package coming that went from UPS to USPS It was sent to the wrong city and now has to come back to Cleveland again (It was already there once). Sigh.

That's really frustrating! There's been a lot of ping ponging of packing the past few months.

Most of the time it is like that. This time it seems they transferred it to the postal service in a town somewhere else in my state.

Poor yarn. I only order from sites that use Canada Post. No courier services come anywhere near us.
That is the trouble with privatizing everything. The public services get used less, they have to decrease service to conserve expense and rural areas get more and more left out

That is pretty frustrating. I use to live in a rural area and honestly? I don't remember a time when we had something like UPS or Fed Ex deliver to us. It was always the postal service.
