Nice little waiting area for dogs while their owners are in the market

This is air conditioned, has airholes and no one uses the bathroom in it. Sis sent it to me, It is outside of Dave's market in Cleveland. This is a great idea and keeps everybody safe. I wonder if it will catch on other places? Some people think of everything don't they?

This would be a good idea, if other people would leave it alone. I'd hesitate to leave Kobe in a parking lot. Someone could load everything on their truck and take off! Nope, I'd never chance it, ever.

Yeah, I mean there has to be a way to secure the dog.

@snowy22315 Even kids banging or kicking on the outside, would be a problem.

I hope to see more of these around. Lots of animals left in cars without proper air ventilation.

Absolutely, I mean it might not be a perfect solution but better than the alternative..if you insist on taking your dog with you that is...better to be left at home.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yeah, a quick trip in and out would be perfect

@snowy22315 Right, but these would still be perfect for say picking the dog up from the groomers or vets and needing to run in for milk and butter.

That’s cool! I’d like to see it more places as well so there poor pets are not left in a care alone in the heat.

Yes, I hate to see dogs left outside in the heat or worse in a car. This seems like a decent solution.

@ShyBear88 I have done that as well. Actually it was at a library. I told the staff about it, but I have called at a grocery store too.

@snowy22315 same here. On a walk during a hot summer is one thing but leaving to go into the store outside or in the car. It’s never a good sight to see. We had to call the police one summer because we saw a dog left in the car.

I checked their site, you install an app and you see your dog all the time while you are inside the store. This is really a great idea.

Yes, I think a closed circuit camera system would almost be a must for something like that. How did you find the info on the dog hut? I went to their website, and didn't see anything about it.

@snowy22315 It is written on their main page, the text at the right of the photo of the open "dog spot" with inside a dog... I am using a computer, not a phone

If there is a way to lock it, looks like a good idea.

This is better than nothing, so I would say it's a good idea. Maybe they can improve in the future to ensure the safety of the dogs.

@snowy22315 That's most likely the case, then. And, it's assumed you're walking said dog before you stop in, so there should be nothing in them.

Well most people don't have more than one dog with them. It is probably big enough for a short stay. A big dog might not be able to lay down,,but it is hard to see how long it is inside.
