Its A Chilly Wednesday

It isn't freezing however the snow is starting to melt a little. It is a quiet day for me Jack went home last evening. I need to check in with him about his school work.
I have been doing a little housework, I warmed up the Big Y chicken pot pie for lunch and it was very tasty. Last night I made the truffled steak penne from Home Chef and it was very quite good and easy to put together.
I had a nice long sleep last night so I am quite filled with energy today. I do have lots of articles to write so I will start that soon.
Nothng much happening other than that. We got more snow than I expected. It was supposed to be a dusting and it is a couple of inches.
This is a boring post but right now my life is pretty boring!! I think I am going to turn on Escape to the Country and do just that, escape to the English countryside.

I saw a commercial for home chef recently that shows they now offer already chopped veggies.
I'm having a pretty boring day as well today but I chose to do that. Enjoy your music. I love a good instrumental playlist.

Yes the oven-ready meals have the veg all prepared. It really cuts prep time. And yes I have a notebook. The meal I made last night suggested chopping the spinach, I put it in without chopping, it was fine.

@BelleStarr I know there's a company out there, Freshly (I think), that has those oven ready or microwave ready meals too. I like my spinach to be finely chopped myself, but that's just me. I guess it also depends on how I prepare it too.

@ScribbledAdNauseum These were baby spinach or I would have chopped them as well. These meals, even the ready ones are not completely ready like they show Freshly. YOu still have to put them together and it takes time to cook they are not precooked.

Escape to the Country.
Is that the show where pretend people buy a pretend country residence.
They see like 3 suggested homes
And a surprise home.
One time one of these shows was shown to be fake.
An unemployed couple had been used saying they had a budget of about 250k lol

No it isn't I just read an article about it and it is not like House Hunters, no sham at all, most of them never even pick a home. Plus they visit the county and take you along to see things like cider makes, gardens, steam trains etc. Now House Hunters is not real, just entertainment.

Tomorrow I will be receiving my first box from Hello Fresh, another home meal kit company.
The meals in the menus for this company appealed to me much more then the Chef's Plate did, so we'll try it out for a while.
I have to say that with having the meal kits it does put a little more excitement back into making meals, even when they are not from the meal kit.

chilly here, frozen pond'n 1/2" ice'n the horses water troughs this morn. 'twas quite bright with the sun all day, but the winds not much fun. brrr.
