'What do you do if your back is itchy?'

There are some instances that our backs are itchy. I remembered my friend that he always uses the edge of the door to scratch his back. I find it silly for him to do this. When I went to the public market, I bought him a back scratch stick. It was a late Christmas present for him. How do you manage to have this kind of situation? Do you have a back scratch stick? I have a back scratcher, but most of the time I ask to my husband to help.

It is a handy one when people are not in the abode.

I use a bamboo back scratcher similar to the ones you've pictured. Or ask Pretty to scratch my back...

Nice one. I haven't seen a bamboo type. I hope it is a handy one.

@Shavkat I keep it on my bed so it is always handy. (I can't get my phone to take a photo, I just tried. I'll try again in the morning.)

@Sreekala I agree. It can cause infection for any allergic reaction.

I think it is. I am bothered if he is scratching his back with the edge of the door.

I try to ignore it, as best as I can, or try and scratch it by hand. I also check my clothing and adjust it, to see if that's the cause.

We can do that and try to have a little detective action. For me, I tried not to scratch because it might get irritated more.

My mother in law got dry skin and itching issues due to side effects of all medications that she too. I got the same kind of back scratch stick for her.

I am glad that you gave her one. It is useful to scratch back that we cannot reach it with our arms.

@arunima25 Oh, my. Dialysis is not a good thing to deal with. It is also expensive to have this treatment, right?

@Shavkat She used to get cranky with all itching. Thankfully it's much better now as she is off dialysis and high dose medication for some time.

It is very useful if there is no one can lend a hand in the house.

I have back scratchers but I do use my long 'cooking' chopsticks to relieve the itch on a specific area on my back.

That's a good alternative idea. I also have this back scratcher. It is very handy if no one can help out here.

Vince has a back-scratcher like those in the photo but he also scratches his back against a door frame.

I think it is the best alternative to scratch one's back without the back-scratcher.
