Missed you all yesterday. When I got home yesterday, I was so tired I took a longer than normal nap and then just laid on the couch for the evening. I did feel more rested today at work. I am glad it is over now, and the weekend has begun for me.
I did hear last night that some of our genius politician are talking about how we should be wearing two masks. These idiots are just making things up as they go. They are saying that with one mask you are 70% protected but with two mask you could bring that up to 90%. I mean if that is the case why don’t we just wear five masks and then we’ll be like 150% protected?
I don’t want to wear one mask because I have a hard time breathing, I certainly am not going to wear two of them. First, they told us it didn’t matter if we wore one and that only the healthcare workers or the sick should be wearing them, then they tell us everyone should be wearing them if you are indoors and close to others, then it was you should wear them all the time and now they are talking about wearing two of them. These politicians don’t have a clue what they are talking about.
Well I hope you all have a good weekend with or without your masks.

People are making things up as they go. Even the CDCsays masks are MOSTLY safe for MOST people. They don't believe masks protect you from anything. They only came up with guidelines because they were pressured into it. So, yes, someone with a higher power is having fun seeing what they can get away with. I am not going to die, or put my life at risk for their own amusement. If my own doctor doesn't even try to recommend I wear one, I won't change my stance on them.

@Bensen32 I understand you do. My husband is in the same boat. He will not wear a mask outside of work, unless someone says something. I on the other hand have never worn a mask. I've even gotten my blood drawn and been to the doctor's office. I'm in stores all of the time.

@kaylachan LOL, I have in stores if they have a visible sign saying they require it, mostly just cause I want in and out of there and not have to hear about it.

Who said that about 2 masks? I think the issue in the beginning was that PPE was NOT available for mass use in the public so they didn't want us thinking we needed to go out and start hoarding it all like we did with toilet paper. But I agree....A lot seems to be unknown. And whatever doctors say, breathing with a mask on *IS* more difficult than without. A lot of the people I know who have breathing problems - chronic like COPD - wear that shield thing instead.

Imagine if this was coming from the Trump administration the endless claims of idiocy we'd be hearing about. I am CERTAIN I will see people doing this this weekend when I am out and about. I will do all I can to refrain from laughing, but luckily through my equally stupid single mask they won't see me smiling very widely.
