Tulips Will Bloom Soon

With these cold winter days most of us are going through right now, I try to reflect on the spring. It will be here in a few weeks. These tulips were from last year's garden. They are one of the first to bloom each year. I cut them back after they blooms are gone. And they return the next year. I have several colors planted. Some years only orange and yellow bloom. Either way, I enjoy seeing all of the blooms. They make me happy.

To see the first flower is one of the biggest joys of spring. It gives hope that the cold and icy winds will give way to sunshine and gentle breezes. Let us know when you see the first one peeking out!

@CarolDM Flowers do that. They're good stress relievers too. I know talking to my indoor plant makes me feel good. My poinsettia is still in full bloom too.

I love tulips. For a long time I wasn't that excited by them, but then I was inspired after a visit to an open garden where they had thousands blooming. I bought a lot of bulbs and planted them at home so hoping for a good show this spring!

I hope to see your tulips when they bloom. Wish I could grow them here. They're usually just available from the flower shop and are kept in a cooler or something like a fridge.
