Another snow day - not by choice

Well, my daughter stayed home again today. But it wasn't because she didn't want to go to work.
She cleaned off her car this morning and tried to leave, but ended up on the sidewalk instead, hung up on the snow the plows had pushed up against her car. We've here almost 11 years and neither of us had ever been stuck. She called me and got me up to come out to help her.
By the time I got out there, she was sitting almost perpendicular to the sidewalk. She said some guy down the block had gotten her off the sidewalk, but didn't help beyond that.
I tried pushing her out, but her drive wheel kept sliding her towards the sidewalk. She ended up just going with it and parked again in the space she'd tried to leave. She called her job and found that others in her office had called out, too, because of the weather conditions.
Hopefully, tomorrow morning won't be a repeat of this morning. My back has hurt so bad all day.

I recall when we first moved here, and it snowed, I had to try and push the car, slipped and slid down the hill. I don't like snow. Hope it's better tomorrow, and your back stops hurting.

Yup we woke up this morning to 6 inches of snow and some people came in late but not many called off I was surprised. I'm still working from home so I didn't have to leave the house. My car is getting dug out tomorrow it's such heavy snow I can't do it myself.
I'm glad she stayed home and got some help for a little bit. Hopefully tomorrow she will have better luck going to work.
