Trash and recycle are a day off this week

Recycling is mandatory in New Jersey. In the town where I live, they come two days a week. A lot of towns pick up both on the same day. On our side of town (west) trash goes Monday and recycle goes Wednesday. When our trash wasn't taken on Monday, we realized the snow storm had pushed it back a day like happens on Monday holidays. Still, we wondered if they'd try to cram in both east and west sides of town on Tuesday leaving the rest of the week on the regular schedule. I put the recycle out for pickup today, but as of 4pm, they haven't picked up. So, I know they'll come tomorrow for us and on Friday for the east side of town.
The only thing that annoys me is that my recycle container has already tipped over once. I had to go out and pick up the bottles from the snow. I then used the shovel to create a flatter surface on the snow to set it. Now I need to keep an eye on it to make sure it stays upright overnight.

That's a real pain sometimes, I don't disagree.
