Certain ages are not allowed

Ages below 18 and over 60's are not allowed to enter restaurants and the like. This has been an order since the creation of that law prohibiting certain ages to go and enter establishments in line with the community quarantine guidelines. This is even continuously implemented to areas where there were already looser restrictions of the community quarantine protocols. In the city where I live, there are authorities on watch in corners along main thoroughfares, especially in commercial places where people tend to gather together with their families. Violation of the rules on wearing face mask and face shield will end up an individual to a fine or a community service if he or she is not able to pay the amount.

@ZedSmart But those are similar ages and both are in contact with older people so both can bring them infection.

@ZedSmart I know that what you mentioned above applies to all the cities, towns and provinces. Probably the young boy does not look his age.

Good thing they're not caught. Or it isn't implemented the same in your area?

We are also following the same rule here. The establishments are strict and they would even ask for ID's to make sure. Not that they don't want the people to enter but they will be the one to suffer if they would allow the minors and the elders to come inside the establishment. They might be banned for violating the rule.

Yes, I understand that they need income as well but if they allowed them, they'll face the consequence.

@ZedSmart No, it helps no one, because if those under 60 go to eat out and when they go back home there are people under 18 and over 60 at home they bring the virus to them. This is a ridiculous rule.

I'm not sure if this is really an effective measure to safeguard these age bracket of people from the infection as they're trying hard to limit the crowd in every places where people can possibly gather or visit.

@LadyDuck That's right. Good that you do not have the same rule there.

The age difference doesn't make sense. Wearing face mask and face shield has been compulsory for a long time already but a lot of people have not been complying still.

Every government is trying to do their best to have guidelines in place for safety of people. Though this age restrictions can be debated. Here we have no age restrictions but a mask is mandatory and safety measures are supposed to be in place. But we see many idiots flouting it.

It's good that they implement the rules and authorities are watching every corner. Some places like here ,many are not using mask and it's like free virus world ,ha.ha. I have no question in age limit,it's their way..so need to abide for safetiness.

The age factor is not a problem in Indonesia, as long as you always wear a mask and avoid crowds.

That is good to hear. Yes, I think it's OK as long as the people wear their masks, or shield when needed and the required distancing is followed ( though not followed at all times).
