I was having a class online with a 15-year-old male teenager. He keeps on showing his disgusting gesture with a naked mole-rat. Of course, I do not want to show the same feeling since I always bear in mind that all living things are created with their real purpose here on Earth. He claimed that it is the ugliest animal in this world and it is good that they are living underground.
I explained that not all people will feel the same way. Perhaps they find it a beautiful animal.
How will you feel if seeing this hairless creature?
Have you seen one?

It is different and it can't help that... but I think it's ugly, too. No, I've never seen one. I have seen hairless cats and dogs. I tried petting one once and was creeped out by the hairless skin! (I have more hair on my arms and legs than those animals did!)

@DaddyEvil It seems you are right. I assumed that they can inflict us with rabies.

@Shavkat Mole-rats are one of the few rodents that do carry rabies, yes.

I have never seen one. But I know for sure that nature is the best artist and even the ugliest of its creation has a hidden beauty.

@Shavkat Few things come with age and maturity. It might be just acting his age. But yes as adults we have our duty to help them understand it.
