Valentine's Day is coming

Frankly, I'm at a loss for what to do this year. I might do a dessert "charcuterie" board for the family, but I'm stuck on what to do for my own Valentine! I might make a lasagna for dinner that night, as I do have his grandma's recipe and it's his favorite. The kids are missing out on their school Valentine's celebrations this year, and I'd like to make it a nice day for them too. My dad sent me a check and told me to use it to buy them some candy. I might use some of it towards the dessert board, and maybe a small heart shaped box of chocolates for each one. I remember how special I felt when I would get one of those as a child. I know it's basically a holiday for selling Hallmark cards and candy, but honestly, it's been such a long difficult year for everyone that having an excuse to make the day special helps a bit.
