Brutal standoff with Kitty this morning.

Kitty stayed out hunting last night. This morning, I heard her meow and let her in. She did what kitties do. I am not a cat person, but I know some kitty language. Human interpretation: "Oh, she's rubbing against my leg, purring, with her back arched, and wants me to pet her. She truly loves me!" Actual cat language: "Oh, she's rubbing against my leg, purring, with her back arched. She wants me to feed her, and she's scent marking me at the same time." The standoff occurred when I fed her outside. There was a large raven in the tree, about 15 feet away, cursing at her. She gave me a pathetic look, as if to say, "That mean old raven is scaring me. Please feel me inside!" I held my ground, and started to close the front door. She darted inside. I knew I was at war. She has been trying to train me to feed her inside more often. I have an inside bowl of water for her at all times. I feed her inside when the raccoons are around or when it's really cold outside (under 45 F). She sat next to her inside food bowl and stared at me. I invite your guesses as to what happened next. This reminds me of "Lost in Space" from my American childhood days. "Danger, Will Robinson!" --to be continued--

We humans are easily trained. Our cats know that.

She'd rather be indoors than out, there could be a coyote on the prowl as well. She might also be pregnant, in that case you'll have your hands full in short order.

If she is pregnant, then is is a miracle, as she is fixed.

Hope you caved and fed her. She knows you like her, despite claims of 'not being a cat person'.

Hint: She started clawing my couch, which is her main way of being "naughty." At that point, it's D-day.

I will do what Kitty wants. I will do what Kitty wants (swirling hypnosis wheel.) Actually I defied her! Buwaahaahaa! But I haven't seen her since. Maybe she has a new slave.

Being the lovely kitty dad that you are, also known as kitty slave, you fed her inside. She is getting wrapped around your finger and heart. They know exactly what they are doing

Buwahaahaa! She started clawing my couch, which is her way of rebelling. I said, "That's it! You're gone!" and kicked her butt out the door. She ate outside. Of course she hasn't been back all day. But I think she'll forgive me. I am master of my own domain!

@TheHorse Do you have a scratching post for her? We got several and they seemed to use them regular. Once in while they go for a really old chair we have, they can't harm it. I told Mike as long as they do it on that one I'm good with it.
