Loaded Baked Potato Dinner

Funny, I always wondered why these are called loaded baked potatoes. I almost always load my potatoes up with the works.
I can never remember having a baked potato with just butter. But I suppose you could.
And some like tons of meat on their potatoes. I like butter, cheese, bacon bits, and sour cream on mine. A few chives if I have them. That is loaded for me.
I always get the larger potatoes for baking. And it is very filling. It will be done soon. And dinner will be ready.

Back when I was eating baked potatoes I would put sour cream, butter, pepper and spinach on mine.

@CarolDM It's when i would get the chicken, baked potato and spinach dish at my favorite restaurant. Delicious but way too fattening with the amount of butter and sour cream (and sometimes tzaziki) I'd use.

my favorite! I love a good baked potato add sour cream, scallions and bacon and I am in heaven!
A friend of my in Indianapolis has a restaurant where he serves smothered baked potatoes
(in chili, in beef stew, in stuff with turkey and gravy)
I miss going there!

That looks yummy to me. They are also good with brocoli on. Broccoli and cheese is good too.

I like just butter and sour cream myself unless I’m in England where they put all sorts of thing on a jacket potato

@CarolDM I had tuna salad on it in England and corn. I have had chili and curry. They have the biggest potatoes I have ever seen and it is a meal and a half.

It is making me hungry! 
Baked potatoes are not a thing here in Italy. Not in restaurants or at home.
The last time I had one was in February 2012. It was my last trip back from UK and I had to stay overnight at the airport as my flight was very early in the morning. There was an all-night restaurant open and they had baked potatoes. I had one and it was so delicious- bacon, tomato and meòted cheese You have given me an idea for a meal at the weekend though!

Yummy! I'm taking a break from stew and made a ham & cheese on sour dough bread. A nice apple juice and chips. Got my custard pie I polished off with it.

I've heard of something called potato skins. And I think I ordered it once somewhere. Thought it's just potato skins but it wasn't.
