Another busy, cold, fun filled day

I am dressed warmly for traveling to work and will meet the school bus in about a half hour.
The fun part of yesterday: I was working with my kiddo to make a Valentine for his mom and dad. I wanted to paint his hand to get a hand print. I was using a "dauber bottle" of paint to paint his hand. With his other hand he squeezed the plastic bottle HARD--it exploded splashing paint on the table.
Immediately his free hand was in the paint that spilled on the table, he rubbed it on his face. It was splashed on his shirt. He had a blast!.
The paint washes up from the table. It will wash out of his shirt. The lead teacher brought cloths to wipe the table, and the kid. She took pictures for his parents.
We are going to make a scrap book for them for the end of the year.
Anyway, I hope you have just as much fun. I am off to work now.

We did get his handprint on the card. AND pictures to send to his Mom of him making it. She loved it.

After Mom got the card the teacher sent her the pictures. She loved it.

How cool! I’m an advocate of letting kids be kids, because once they’re adults they can’t go back. I’m glad he had a great time “making a mess.” and that you had fun watching him!!!

Mom loved the pictures when we sent them, after she got the valentine so it was still a surprise.

Yes, it does. We changed his shirt, and that one went through our laundry, and came out great.

Kids sure know how to make the most out any situation. Children are very adaptable aren't they? And they will find a way to make it fun!
