A Man in my House?

He was just a man who was dark. I think he had black hair and wore dark-colored clothes. I only saw him for a second.

@akalinus Maybe there is a ghost living with you.

I have seen other things that really weren't there. When I have a migraine, I start out by seeing wavy lines everywhere and then smoke in the room. I almost called the fire department the first time it happened.

@akalinus Really? All due to the migraine?

@jaboUK I think so. It happens whenever I get a really bad headache. I hate the dizzy feeling I get too.

@akalinus For me the word "apparition" refers to an unexpected thing happening, something out of the ordinary like a ghost. Haven't we spoken about weird things happening in the place you are now?

I know it was late in the day but not sure what time it was. I have heard of apparitions but don't really know what they are. My friend from India wrote a post here that he thought he saw an apparition but it turned out to be a shadow or something.

@akalinus Your son could hook it up so you could watch what's happening on your phone while you're locked in your bedroom or bathroom. He could set it up so he could see on his phone what's happening while you're locked in your bedroom or bathroom, too.

@DaddyEvil My son won't answer me anymore. I don't know what his problem is but I am not happy with hearing nothing from him. He could help but I don't know what to think.

I guess I forgot you believe in ghosts. But the camera is a good idea. I sometimes wonder what goes on in here when I am asleep or away.

I don't think there was anyone there. The cops would be mad if I called them.

@MALUSE Thanks. That is a good idea. The only abnormal things I have seen involve missing food. I have written posts about it before. I know I'm not eating it because I have not gained any weight, so where could it have gone to? If someone came to my door and said they were hungry, I would gladly share what I have with them.

I looked all over my place which is not very big. I don't know where he would be. I have often wondered if someone else was living here because of a lot of missing food and things.

@thelme55 I have read about other people who thought someone was living in their house without their knowledge and then they caught the person sneaking around or on camera. There is no attic or basement here so I don't know where they would be. I did have a neighbor who kept telling me that there were two men on my roof but I think she was mental.

@akalinus I would not find peace if I were you knowing that someone might be there.

No, the door was locked and I did not see anything amiss that I did not do. I was not thinking of ghosts but who knows anymore. Anything is possible.

Yes she is @akalinus I would be lost without a dog in my family.

@rebelann We always had dogs before. When our last dog was put down due to cancer, we did not get another. We were traveling around a lot and it would have been a problem what to do with a pet. Now hubby is gone and I am alone. I am tired a lot and dogs need walking, grooming, and other stuff. I don't know if I am up to that anymore.

If this happens again, I will seriously think about getting a dog. Your dog must be a comfort to you because you will know if someone is lurking around your place.

@arthurchappell Yes, it is scary. I would hate to find out that a real person or some other entity stayed here without my knowledge or consent.

Yes, they can. I am pretty sure that this is what happened, my mind played a trick. But I wanted to see what others think. I hope it never happens again.

It has not changed lately. I have been feeling ill for a while now.

Yes, both locks on the door were securely fastened. I don't know why I saw this guy.

@akalinus Doors were locked.It was impossible for anybody to enter in.I think you had a hallucination.

@CarolDM yeah, that can mess up our dreams alright. I hope you don't have any bad dreams now.

It took me a long time to de-stress after that. I felt the adrenaline pumping for a while.

@florelway I have heard of a third eye but don't know a lot about it. Do you want to explain more?

@akalinus Over the years, where we live now, a touch lamp would turn itself on and my fireplace insert would turn itself on too. I moved the lamp to different areas of he house to try to stop it from doing that. It did stop here and there but every time O put it back where I once had it, it would turn itself on at times. It used to scare me because I thought someone else in the home turned those things on. I assume it is a power surge though making it do that but still. I got rid of the lamp a few years ago. It was a pretty lamp but it was freaking me out and becoming annoying. The fireplace still turns itself on from time to time but after the winter months, I just leave it unplugged. Makes me wonder what is going on in the house though for sure.

I have not seen him again so it is a good chance that I saw a shadow or something.

@stephcjh Usually, I speak to things that might not be real. I tell them that if they come from God, they can stay. If they are not from God, they must leave immediately. I only saw this person for a second and did not have a chance to say that.

I was glad too. It is so disturbing when I think something is there and then it's not. It was sort of out of the corner of the eye type of thing.

It must be something about the house. Can you find out what went on there before you got it?

@akalinus I haven't experienced this in any other house I have lived in. If it weren't for my husband seeing movement and people here I would think I was going crazy. We now accept it as normal for this house.

It was. I don't want to see strangers in the house that were not invited.

@Dena91 You saw something as a child and you still remember it. That is powerful because you did not forget about what you knew you saw.

@akalinus Just a figure of a man, no one that I could recognize. I was 10 or so when it happened. My brother and I were playing in the basement and he was standing over by the piano. When I lived in Philadelphia. A couple years later we moved out of the city into the suburbs. I haven't had anything like that happen again.
