We prune our flowering plants once a year. This Hawaiian Hibiscuss was also pruned and we got the first bloom this morning.
We have just one of this variety and most hibiscus flowers that we had have died. We do have colour in our garden but many flowers have disappeared.
The bloom has four shades white, pink, yellow and red.
Do you do pruning of your plants?

Very pretty! I've never seen one that color before. We have miniature hibiscus that are purple with white stripes, though.
No need to prune many of the flowers here. The cold of winter kills the plants so you have to start them again from seed every Spring.

@allknowing I think they're beautiful. The stalk only grows about three feet tall and is covered with blooms.

Our mango trees have grown so tall that getting up there and harvesting mangoes no one is willing to. We never pruned them
