What is he thinking?

Tinker wanted out almost an hour ago. Usually he is reluctant.
Mickey usually is more adventurous, but he is curled up on a blanket.
The temperatures are below zero, Fahrenheit. Then there is windchill. Tinker has places he can hide, I know, but why even go outside?
That is my attitude today.
I did drive the truck out around town at the end of the day yesterday. Mostly just to make sure it would start.
The car will not start.
Maybe Tinker thinks he will find some "micecicles".

I may go out to take something to the shed in a little bit, or maybe not. Cats are in. We are all fed and everyone except me is asleep.

Tink came in, Mickey went out for a bit, but is inside now. They seem to need just a few minutes outside every day.

@GardenGerty My adoptive cat came inside this morning, he just wanted to be petted for a while, he does not like to stay inside.

Can't blame him at all. This cold is terrible.

Each of the cats went out for a little bit and both are safely back inside now.

Maybe he just wanted some fresh air.

I go out for a tiny bit every day myself, but usually wait until noon.

Both of the cats are pestering me to open the door this morning. I want to at least wait until daylight. The more micicles they eat the fewer pests around in the summer. I will say that between the snakes, hawks and kitties, I do not have mice.

@GardenGerty My sister and her son are having a problem with rats. They have stopped taking the baits they've been putting out and are becoming a real pest.
