Day 189
Promise 651
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.
It’s hard to find faithful, loyal people today. People are out to get what they can from life. If they don’t like something, they quit and move on.
Paul told the Thessalonian church God was faithful and would establish them. Not only would He establish them, but He would also keep them from evil.
As Christians, God will do the same for you. He is faithful where people aren’t. He will establish you in your calling and keep you from evil.
Satan is an ever-present person in a Christian’s life. If you are active in God’s Work, he will do all he can to bring trouble against you. God promised to keep you from evil. When you spend your time with God. You will know Satan’s schemes. Prayer will keep Satan away from you. God will protect you from all evil.
Let’s pray: Father, help me remain faithful to You as You are to me. Keep evil far from me as I spend time with You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

I wonder what is the difference between being faithful, and having faith?
I might posit that faith belongs in our self, but faithfulness we give to others, and so it is an aspect of love in that God too is faithful to us, if we have faith in him.
Faith allows us to feel this faithfulness of God's, alive in us then too.

@just4him Thanks.
They, faith and faithfulness, are connected too, I think, as if we have great faith in God, for example, we show him faithfulness in our service of him then too, and we appreciate more his faithfulness to us, as well.
