Who Fact Checks The Fact Checkers?

Facebook "fact checkers" claim to be non-partisan,unbiased, but they clearly aren't as objective as they like people to think. I am not the first to notice this, or call people's attention to it. As the old saying goes, "who's fact checking the fact checkers"? Who (with the power to do anything about it) that is.

There are a few levels you can go through if you think something has been unfairly removed by FB so yes, there are people checking the fact checkers. If something is removed you can appeal and this is then reviewed by an actual person normally within a few days (they say 24 hours but it is normally longer) and if they've made a mistake they put it back. If it is still deemed to be against the rules you have at least 2 more levels of appeal.

It seems that we need to be aware of their scheme.

I think they are all on their own with no one looking over their shoulders

No one. We have to trust in the fact checkers' ability.

All due respect @LindaOHio but even fact checkers can be wrong @ times, whether there's intentional bias or not, based on personal experience, I don't put a lot of stock in their ability. The best thing to do is to fact check for ourselves before sharing something to begin with.
