I wrote the other day about the play doughnut we made from an old sock.

In my quest for uses for socks I also found an idea for an easy snowman. The girls and I made our first one yesterday evening and here she is - Stella the snow person.
She’s very cute! I have a feeling some friends may receive these next Christmas! We also want to try making cats (with black socks) - and now @LadyDuck has just pointed me to a tutorial to make gnomes so we have lots of fun ahead!

There is a lot you can do with old socks, A idea for a game fill some old socks with beans (or rice) sew the end up and then use some bowls and put point amount on each one and play bean bag toss whee you toss the bags into a bowl and the one with the mostpoints a the end of the game wins.

Our socks make a great object for my cat to hide his toys in. I had another cat who would use it, or a shirt or something else, to burry his food.
