Yes, it’s pruning time again for me. I was pruning my Calamondin/Calamansi fruit plant.
My beautiful citrus fruit Calamondin was losing leaves and some branches were dying. I felt sad thinking that it could die and so I try my best to take care of it. I was even talking to this plant again and I hope it was listening to my begging not to die.
Do you have plants that are not doing well inside your home?
Calamondin is a tropical plant and so this winter, it is in our warm living room. I am looking forward to Spring so I can start planting again and cleaning my balcony.
Anyway, wish me good luck for my Calamondin citrus plant. Thanks for reading. Have a nice Wednesday or Thursday which ever day you have in your country.

My plant was dying. So I bought something called 'plant food sticks.' All I did was push a stick into the soil, then watered my plant as it was necessary. My plant survived and it became so beautiful!

@popciclecold From what I learned, they put nutrients into the soil with every watering.

It is a hybrid citrus fruit which is also edible. Yes, I heard about it too and I am using this method to make my plants thrive. Thank you @popciclecold

@thelme55 Yay. Now your viands would have perfect dips and sauces.

@thelme55 It is cold here, but not freezing . . . still it may be too cold for our plants - and unfortunately I really can't bring them all inside. I have heard plants enjoy music . . . they just might love your music too
. I have a friend who tells me the plants she gives an actual name to stay alive

@thelme55 That is a lot of orchids! They must've been so beautiful! Some people are good with orchids - for others it's hard for some reason. I think people tend to overwater them. I'm glad your best friend is maintaining your orchids really well!

I would love to have plants in my house, but I don't have enough space or enough light that comes into my home for them. When I go over to my grandma's I like talking to the plants there, just so they feel a little less lonely haha

Can you not put a few plants on your windowsill? It’s good that you talk to the plants of your grandma. I am sure the plants are happy for you. Thank you @DesirousDreamer.

@thelme55 We don't have windowsills in my home. Trust me, if I had space in my home I would have put plants everywhere haha But I don't want to deal with plants outside because it just gets too hot.

@thelme55 I have such plants and I can wait for spring just to take them out to the yard, I hope to last until then, in the meantime I try a lot around them. It's good that you pruned Calamansi

@LowRiderX I can’t wait either. This afternoon I cleaned my balcony and throw the rotten plants. I am looking forward to planting flowers again. This time, I am going to plant hanging strawberries.

I guess your plant is missing the warmth. I hope you are able to keep it alive till summer.
