De-gunk a cookie sheet: Pour coke on the sheet and let it set for a few minutes. The acid and carbonation will lift the cookie mess right up. Warming up with hot cocoa can help to lower your blood pressure. Walking every day is good for your whole body. The picture is mine taken by me.

Was that pony sticking her tongue out at you when you took the photo? What did you do/say to her to make her do that? (I love this photo!)

Coke has been the subject of a number of myths. One is that it was first invented as a brass cleaner and another, which is rather dubious, is that some police cars which have to deal with traffic accidents carry a couple of gallons of coke in the trunk which they use to clean blood off the road. Because it contains a dilute solution of phosphoric acid, it is actually quite a good cleaner and does dissolve a number of organic products and will also shift limescale, if you live in a hard water area, which is why it is sometimes recommended for cleaning your toilet. It's rather expensive, however, for these sorts of jobs and you might just as well use a solution of vinegar. Baking soda also does pretty well for helping to clean burnt on food and if you combine the two, you get a fizz which works just as well as the carbonation in Coke.

How did you know my cookie sheets needed de-gunking? I love the hot cocoa tip. My blood pressure does need a bit of help to lower, As for walking, oh well, I'd like to. Great tips.

I walk every day. I know about cocoa, my husband must avoid he has very low blood pressure. The coke works also to clean the toilet bowl.

I'll have to try that with coke one day. I don't drink it so I don't have any on hand.
