Thawed Out !

Last week was unbelievable. What an Arctic blast it was. I feel so badly for those that are still without power and water. We were blessed that our power was only out for 13 hours and our water for a day. After everything came back on we had some power surges for a day or so and funky looking water that we’ve had to boil before drinking.
My aunt is still in the hospital. She had a setback over the weekend, but on a brighter note our fellow Mylotter Alfredo @amadeo is doing quite well. Mike says that Alfredo is improving and that he has been able to get out and go on some drives. Yesterday they went and got Chinese takeout.

It has warmed up a little in Michigan, also. Sorry about your aunts setback, but glad to hear that Alfredo is feeling better!

You were one of the lucky ones. Glad you have power and water back. Perhaps now, your state can start taking preventative measures to prevent such things in the future. Mother nature has proven how cruel she can be.

It is wonderful news about Alfredo. My aunt never was released from the hospital. It’s been nearly a month since she went in.

I am so sorry for your aunt's setback. I hope that she rebounds.
It is just wonderful news about Fredo, I am glad that he is having some good days that he can spend quality time togther with Mike and even get out a bit. That must do both of their hearts wonders.

I am sorry to hear that your Aunt is in the hospital. I hope she returns home soon and is feeling better. That's good news about Alfredo. The temps are finally above freezing; and I can't wait until we get rid of this white stuff.

I hate when the power and water go out in winter. 13 hours to me is a long time. I hate when the water goes out and then it is not normal coming back on at first. I am so sorry that your Aunt had a setback but so glad to hear about Alfredo.
