I Hope there are No Ghosts

I wrote another post about a man in my house. That got me to thinking about ghosts. I hope ghosts are not a real thing.
Can you imagine someone who has passed going on for eternity? They are searching for their killer, their lost love, or for a way out.
Can you imagine a child eternally looking for his parent, sibling, or just someone to love them?
The thought of this fills me with anguish and sadness for the futility of it all.
I hope there are no ghosts. Do you ever think about ghosts and how sad the situation would be if there are?

I don't want to think about it. It scares me. I can't watch a horror movie. Well, people do talk about paranormal events and I find it creepy.

I've told you about interacting with ghosts before... No, I don't think about them unless they do something to draw my attention to them.

Energy do exists!
The one which is inside you matters. So until your good deeds are high on the meter, I don't think you will be touched by any bad energy

@akalinus I had told you earlier that I believe in the paranormal.Although I have never encountered a ghost,but had a spooky feeling around several times.Something is there and it is real.Many people tell and many others have writtenl their experiences and you can't say they all are liars.

@akalinus They saw or experienced something they can't explain.You can't say they all are superstitious. Some of them are highly educated.They penned downed their experiences.....One of my friends does not believe in ghosts. But when I asked him if he could spend a night in a deserted old building near the outskirts of our town,he flatly refused.

@Shivram59 The paranormal can be scary. Who knows if that old house is dangerous or not? I do not want to tempt anything evil. Except for DaddyEvil, maybe. Now I am just babbling.

I prefer not to think about it. However I do believe that it is something that one could face, may be at some place and under certain conditions. Not all real world stories would be fake or untrue.
It is in the realm of metaphysics and goes beyond the boundaries of conventional logical Science.

I am left to wonder why on earth ghosts stay in abandoned places when they can happily live royally in newly built accommodations with all facilities and amenities. I mean those who were tormented in some place..I would think they would like to be away from such a place. I also wonder if Auschwitz is haunted.

I don't feel I am bumping into anybody. And there have never been ghosts of lambs getting even with tigers. So kinda, I am confused too. Why did you eat me, you should have learned to eat grass like I used...that is also a matter of serious concern.

Maybe ghost years is unlike years, decades or centuries that we know in our dimension. It's possible that their unfinished business is no longer measured in our time , who knows? If ghost and specters are only an illusion then what do you think of time? Just some random thoughts, maybe I don't feel sorry for them but just hope they move to another dimension they should be at.

@akalinus people measured the rotation of the earth around the sun as well as on it's own axis. Time is one of 7 fundamental physical quantities since it could be measured, ghosts are no longer physical, just come to think of it

There is one part of me that longs for their existence, good or bad, or even what it means to be a ghost. I guess, in an odd sort of way for me it would reveal something more tangible beyond life. But encountering one would certainly be unsettling, and I have had ghostly experiences in the past, but not sure if they really actually WERE ghostly experiences.
Either way, it is spooky.
