Do You Follow The Leader?

I have never been one to actually follow the leader, so to speak. I like to do my own thing, at my own pace. Many people like to follow others lead instead of making their own way or choices. Sometimes that can be beneficial but it can also hold you back in other ways.

well it depends on what are you doing. If requires team effort, then I follow. There are times that you do not need to follow them

I agree with what you said about the team effort.

@stephcjh if you are in a team, the least you can do is to cooperate. That is my opinion. and to be a good leader, you need to be a good follower

@rakski Right. I agree that we do need to cooperate at times.

Usually, I end up adding my thoughts. I at times feel ignored so I reiterate too many times perhaps. But it may be concluded I do follow the leader. I also tend to be curious so sometimes people lose patience with me. That may be another reason I choose to follow rather than lead.

These days, especially, I like to make my own choices because I cannot trust anyone to lead me in the right direction on things.

@stephcjh For me it does not make sense because a lot of arguments are simply not worth my breath, I feel. I let my parent lead, I follow, we fall into ditch, I don't say I told you, he frets and fumes, and I feel well, the result would have been the same even otherwise.

@stephcjh I like to make my own decisions but would like help with certain things. I grew up voting the way my parents did and when i came to Israel I decided to make my own decisions as to who I wanted to vote for.

Same here. I like to make my own too and if I make the wrong one, I can only blame myself. I hate for someone else to make decisions for me too.

@stephcjh You can also say you made a mistake in the choice you made. I believe in certain things and certain ways and like to observe things. Not everyone feels the same way about things so we have to decide what we believe in for ourselves to feel good about our choice or choices.
