I got threatened with a taser tonight

I was on the porch bringing in my groceries with the door propped open when suddenly, my daughter's dog goes flying out and appears to attack two small dogs (review of security video shows that didn't happen). It all happened so fast, I wasn't even grasping what was happening....until the dude pulls out a taser and tries to zap our dog. Debra screamed and asked him what the F he was doing. Tucker is behind her by now and he's still trying to tase him. Tucker then takes off and Deb tries to catch him. Then the guy goes after her AND the dog, taser blazing. Then he starts walking the way he was going in the first place and starts yelling at me, says he's going to call the cops. I told him, "Go ahead! Then you can tell them you are using an illegal weapon." "I use it for protection!" "That's fine, but they're still illegal in this state, so go ahead and call them. Tell them all about your zapper!" (Brain fart...forgot what they were called.) That's when he came towards me, zapping steadily as he approached me. I even dared him to do it so he could add that to the charges. (I wasn't thinking clearly, obviously.) He finally walked down the street away. Meanwhile, Debra had the dog corralled in our backyard and had come back around and heard everything, including the sound of the taser buzzing nonstop. I had come back inside by then and she called the police. They took our statements and began looking for the guy, his friend and the two dogs. Two of our neighbors came out to check if we were OK, but after that, we just had to let the adrenaline die down. I now have to put my groceries away.
