Spread Kindness to Everyone: Why?!?

My biological parents always tell us to spread kindness to others. For the reason that they can help us back sooner or later. However, we need to be vigilant for those people who would be abusive to our kindness. Why should we spread kindness to everyone we meet? Image Credit: cdn.prdaily.com

@CarolDM It does apply to the Golden Rule of God. It is also related to the principles of karma, either good or bad. @JimBo452020

*sigh* Spreading kindness to everyone sounds nice and it would be wonderful if we were able to do that without others thinking to take advantage of that kindness, but we both know people aren't always kind or willing to let us be kind without taking advantage. I say, if you believe you can trust the person not to take advantage, then be kind... if you can't trust them/don't know them well enough to trust them, then ignore them.

@DaddyEvil If we were able to determine these abusive people, then we can just stop. In this world, so many people can take advantage of innocent souls. @JimBo452020 (

Just be happy and smile when you meet people then if they are good people spread the kindness, to me those who are not nice do not need my kindness.

For those people who do not like me, I will do the same thing. It is a normal chain reaction.

It's not the case everytime that we should think like that of getting help in return from them. If everyone is kind, the world would be a best place to live peacefully. Take care

It is an ideal thing to happen, but it can only be realized in a dream only.

It's because when you're kind, the same will be returned to you even a thousand fold

I agree. It goes to the Golden Rule of God: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

It is spontaneous I think. Just be good and do not expect anything in return.

That's a good attitude to practice. We do not need to expect them to return the favor in some way.

This is true. You have to be careful who you give kindness to. Speak politely and help people if they need help, but watch out for people carefully.

Indeed. We need to polish our skills in determining people who can give good or bad deeds.

It is a funny thing to me honestly. The one's who talk so highly about being kind to others are usually the rudest people I have ever met. There was a popular bumper sticker liberals liked to put on their cars that said "Coexist." They are among the rudest, unaccepting people on the planet.

@porwest I had met so many people like this. Some of them seemed to be good in publicity, but they are not. These are politicians who continue to deceive the citizens.

@JimBo452020 You have definitely worked very hard, and have been very successful in giving Scots a bad name in my book. I would not go to Scotland at this point if it were the last place on earth.

because we don't know what kind of problems they're dealing with + it feels good being nice to others.

Being kind is fine as long as they are not psychotic.
