Time Flies So Fast: Isn't It?

This is the day that we had to move out of our old house last year. Due to this pandemic, we cannot fully find a land property to buy. We were supposedly planning to build our dream house. Time flies so fast because we were renting an apartment for a year now. I just felt that we wasted money on the rental payment. Do you think that time flies so fast? Image Credit: i.gifer.com

No, you did not waste money on the rental payment. You had a dwelling and you were kept safe during the pandemic. Besides, with real property, one has property tax to pay also.

@Shavkat Plenty of rent-to-own in the metropolis a decade and a half back. Now it is condo units as you say. Townhouses are better. Condo units are too small.

At the back of my mind, it is better to have a rent to own a house. At least, it is still a good investment. However, we do not have this here in the city. It is more on condo units.

But you had a place to stay and sleep at night. I consider that better than living on the street. Yes, time does seem to pass before you know where it went.

We also have a hard time finding a property. Mom and Dad realized that it is more practical to have a house that is ours than paying 8k rent per month for 3 years. And yes, indeed time flies too fast.

Your parents are right about this matter. It is best to buy a land property and then, build the house little-by-little. I hope we can find one and wish you the same thing.
