Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. The time flies so quickly as already March month has started from today. I was just wondering today about the said topic i.e. Do you think there is any specific age to settle down? As in getting married stuff. I am 35years old and I sometimes feel that my marriageable age is over and shouldn't move forward to settling down. At other times when I see people getting married and settling down at later stage I am confused. Do you think age gap matters when it comes to love and marriage?? Do let me know your thoughts about it.

I think that 97 is a good age to begin thinking about settling down, getting married and having a family... Of course, in the US a person can get married as young as 16 for women/girls (with one parent's consent) and 18 for men/boys. But, I think people should know their own mind and give themselves plenty of time to be young and enjoy life, first, so age 97 should be about the right age/time to start thinking about it. Edit to add: My wife was 42 years old when she had my daughter, so you still have years yet before you need to worry about it. In my opinion.

In my country women need no permission to marry at age 28. Before that, parent's consent is necessary. So that is the marriageable age for women. Psychologically, women are more mature than men by two years. So men are probably ready enough by age 30.

And for age gap, when both people are adult I guess even 10 isnt much, I just dont think its normal when one person is under 20 and other much older. Or one 20 other 70, thats just not beliavable for me to be love

I think girls are worrying when they are already old to marry unlike men because of the possibility of not capable of giving birth or it will be hard for them but are proven not true in some cases. For some who are too young, giving birth is also a risk because of the structure of their body is not fully developed. Getting married at the right age is acceptable most especially if you have already prepared your humble abode and both with job and enough money to start your future family.

No, the age gap shouldn’t matter at all, unless you want children. To me, settling down means you have a job and can live on your own.

I know someone who got married at the age of 40, they didn't have a chance to have their own child but they adopt one and they love her just like their own daughter. When it comes to settling down, 27 for me is the best age to settle down. 25 will do too if we already have enough money to settle. Well... That's what I always hear from elders. As long as you earn and you can already stand-alone, you can settle down or get married.
