Just received notice that they closed on the loan for construction this past Friday. It has been raining, but today I started to see some of the crew go around the perimeters.
I also started to see some residents belongings hauled off to storage, and their temporary apartments.
The construction crew will also begin working on a new roof, and air conditioning system. So they said it will be very loud for a few days.
I want to get clarification on the sprinkler system, when the site manager visits me on the ninth to find out what my needs are... If what I am hearing is correct, it could cause devastation for people's property. So before I address that, I want clarification.
The construction crew will begin blocking off the property, and units. They will also relocate the two smoking gazebos. and one non smoking gazebo to another area, and will let us know where.
I was worried they were going to tear down the non smoking one, because I enjoy going out there and sitting. It is screened in, so it protects you from the mosquitoes. Where it is located now, is where the main lobby, and new apartment building will be located. So i knew it had to be moved. I am happy they decided to let us keep it.
They have to keep the smoking gazebos in tact; because we living in non smoking buildings, due to other residents who have oxygens machines, and allergies.

Sounds like eeverything seems to be very well planned. Happy to hear they're also going to address any possible problems during the renovation process.

I feel so blessed. These buildings are privately owned. Their goal has always been to give seniors and disabled people the best possible living experience.

@teresatrotter You should be. I used to live in a building like that. But, the owner sold it to a big-name company. So, we bought a house instead.
