And then there were five

I thought I started this discussion, but it is not here. No wonder I have no notifications.
Bob went and got the other two cats. They had been placed in carriers for us by Traci's daughter.
So now I am the proud mom of 5 rescued fur babies. The young ones compete for my attention and lap. Angel is in the house somewhere unseen, Mickey is miffed. Tinker is clueless.
So I have Mickey and Tinker that belonged to Ann. Angel that was Vincent's cat and the mother of the two young ones. The young ones are about 9 months old. Bibsy, I have been told is male. Baby is female. At my house Baby will be called Lady. No one should be a baby all of their life.Lady has very fluffy long hair. It is tabby striped in shades of black and tan. I need to get a cat brush and flea comb.
Mickey and Tinker have had their shots and are both neutered. They can go in and out. The other three need the same.
My soon to be ex daughter in law quit feeding them about two weeks ago. Then she put them out of the house when the weather was bitterly cold. It is no wonder Angel is not very trusting.
To me, having the kitties adds some life to the place. I just will have to stretch my attention for all of them.
Meanwhile, it is time for work.

Something "mixed up" in her make up. She is the one that got Angel for my son in the first place, and talks about how much she hates cats. They were both at fault for not having her spayed.

I am glad that you took in the two kittens. I am sure Angel, Mickey and Tinker will come around to the new additions of Bibsy and Baby/Lady.
It's been 9 days since we lost Buttons and even though we have Ginger, our home is much quieter now. We miss sweet B terribly, Especially Mike as she was his shadow.

I am sorry for your loss. It has been about two years since we had to have Princess put to sleep. I still goof and sometimes call the other cats Princess.

@wolfgirl569 I want them to get really attached here before I allow them indoor/outdoor privileges.

Yes, they will. I will get them neutered and at least their first shots.

@rakski It will be my small contribution to a healthier society to take care of them.

He is a huge kitty, who mews like a kitten. A year ago he was almost twelve pounds and he has grown since then. He acts like a big dumb teen aged boy.

@GardenGerty He sounds really lovable - a bit like a big dumb ox!

I hate it when discussions go missing.
So now you have 5 organic bed warmers. You'll never be cold again.
And remember, nobody puts Baby in the corner.

"Baby" looks huge until you smoosh all of her hair down. I will never be allowed to sit at the computer again.

I do not think she cared at all, except it gave her a reason to nag at me. I am glad I have them all now.

Hubby stays at home, so he helps, or not. What I am not having time for is online stuff very much right now. I am feeling my age. I can remember when I worked two jobs and also was going to school two nights a week.

@GardenGerty I'm feeling my age more because my body is beginning to do more that will limit me for certain activities unless me starting to wear sorry hose helps minimize what's happening.
I was hoping to work two to four more years full time and maybe longer after I go back down to post time but I'm beginning to rethink that.

I have had kitties for over sixty two years. Quite a few of them lived to ripe old ages. The three new ones have long hair, and Bibsy and Lady do not seem to know how to groom well.

Yes, I do. I had to come in here and shut and lock the door to get a chance to type. I keep having cats in my lap.
