Daffodils Will be Blooming Soon

Was out walking around in the yard. Had my phone with me, in case I needed a camera. Surprisingly I saw the daffodils full of buds in the backyard. They are planted around one of the poplar trees. Soon there will be bright yellow blooms. I call these sunshine flowers. All of those doing the spring countdown, keep going. It is almost here. Photo is mine.

I always have daffodils leaves that pop up, but they haven't had buds or flowers for awhile, not sure why.

@CarolDM Do you think I should try to fertilize it with something?

@snowy22315 You could. If you use mulch, maybe some fresh mulch. I just loosen the soil around mine with a rake and they bloom. They often bloom through weds, very tolerant.

I planted some dahlia bulbs in Montana, in memory of my graduate advisor, whose name begins with "D." But I planted them in a place that does not get a lot of sunlight. I saw plants this past Summer, but no flowers. Do you think I'll see flowers some day?

That's a sign that gorgeous spring is soon to be there. We have spring here but days are too warm for a spring season. Have got few buds in my garden and they should be blooming soon.

I was coming back home today and as I started up the gravel road, I saw three already bloomed. I was so excited. Up closer to the houses, they are just green stalks every where. We get a lot of wild ones out here.
