To make it convincing, why not the head...

...of the health sectors and subordinates around the globe be injected with these coronavirus vaccines. I noticed that our country's health secretary is so busy roaming and monitoring the local hospitals in administering these Sinovac vaccines. It is just being a concerned citizen. Why not show to the locals that he and the other staff have them in public? They kept on claiming that they are safe, but not having them in the first place.
Are they also not confident to take the Sinovac vaccines?
What do you think about this concern?

I think it's always damn if they do; damn if they don't. If they have themselves injected first, people complain. If they let the rest of the population be injected first according to the order of priority, they are still criticized. It's really hard to be a leader - be that in government or private sector.

@sunrisefan They are like celebrities, too. It is being questioned how they perform. At present, there are so many issues that need to be answered. Regardless, they need to face the criticisms because some of the locals had seen their actions in public. @rakski

@Shavkat Well, this is a free country and each one is free to speak out his mind. Hope something good comes out of people's criticism.

I am always happy to see the people telling us how 'safe' something is taking it first. If they don't, why not? What is wrong with it? What do you expect it to do to those you're telling to take it but you won't?

@DaddyEvil I agree. It does not make sense because China did not give any feedback about their vaccines in the open at present. So how can we be sure if they are safe or not?

@Shavkat Usually, when they don't want people to know something they have people who don't know anything talk about it so they don't accidentally give away any 'tells' that others might pick up on.

@Shavkat i find it concerning that the frontliners are the first to be given the vaccine too, since what if it has adverse effects? Good thing they can refuse it.
Also i think 2 brands are available right now in our country? Hopefully more brands would be available since it depends on the person too, which vaccine will be more effective to him/her.

I am glad that you can read my mind about this concern. Even the president is not that confident of having two shots of this vaccine. Claiming that he is also a senior citizen. If they can show the locals be injected, then it will be easy to convince their people.
However, they might think that they are guinea pigs, so let the frontliners have the vaccines first.
There is a piece of news that some frontliners refused to be injected with these vaccines as scheduled. I assumed that they had seen some people who showed some side effects.
