Those coals look very hot. I don't like cooking much and my husband loves cooking so he does most of ours.

@cacay1 Yes, I know I'm lucky and I'm always careful to thank him. I do all his dishes for him too.

I like to cook and try out new recipes. That kind of charcoal stoves were very common in India. Now it's not that much in use. But still we use them in some places. And this charcoal cooking gives a nice flavour.

I never saw a charcoal stove here, but if you know how to use it, all the more power to you! I have been cooking many different dishes than noral during the pandemic. I try to make restaurant dishes that we have enjoyed over the yearfs. You just reminded me of a chicken and broccoli dish that I haven't made in years.

@Laurakemunto I definitely will. It's amazing how we forget what is good and get stuck in a rut.

It's good to learn new recipes. I've needed to learn new recipes in the past few years because I'm eating healthy to lose weight.

The food cooked on a charcoal stove is I think more delicious than cooked in an electric stove.

Cooking is something I really enjoy and always enjoy trying new things. This site actually gives me lots of great ideas since a lot of people share what they are eating and my list grows of things to add.

I used wood stove before, but that was when I was very young. It's more of a helper role instead of doing the cooking. The food tasted better compared to modern stove using gas. But it's not as safe though.

I enjoy cooking because I enjoy eating . We live in a diverse area, so we have been able to try different international foods . . . often we will try to cook new favorites at home (thank goodness for online recipes!).

I like to cook but usually stick to simple meals. Hope you enjoy trying new ideas and that your family enjoys it. That charcoal stove is interesting and it certainly looks like it gives off plenty of heat.
