Brother came today...

And started laying flooring in the living room. I went about my business when he was working, and at one point either took Angel for a walk or stayed in my room because he evidently was having trouble with the flooring, and from the banging and the language I was hearing, he wasn't happy about it. It put me in mind of when my dad was alive and working in the garage, and if we heard loud "complaining" and maybe the clank of a tool hitting the floor, we knew to stay out of the garage. My brother finally came back here when he was done for today to inform me he was leaving and he might see me tomorrow. He said he took out what he'd done and put it back together, and it was looking much better. I was relieved to hear that. I took a photo of what he'd done--I'm guessing he had to do a lot of cutting to make pieces fit around the fireplace. Phew. Well, if my brother comes over tomorrow, I hope it's early so that I'll be out of the house at church in just in case he has difficulty tomorrow.
