I live in a 3 story building with 4 apartments on each floor. The woman with 2 girls across the way moved out last month to live with her father after her mother passed away. Then the family next to me moved out last weekend because they bought a house. There hasn't been anyone move in thus far. They have to recarpet and repaint each unit before new residents come in. I haven't seen maintenance even start on that yet. The woman who lives in the 3rd apartment up here is always working so I almost never see her. It is like I have this floor to myself!

I'd love living without any close neighbors! This would be quiet and peaceful:)

The girls would come over to play with Charlie and Adso. Their mother and I would share meals with each other. It was nice having them there. The other family pretty much stayed to themselves but the husband loves seeing Charlie. He called him "Charles".

@NJChicaa I lived in an upstairs apartment with my two kids. The couple downstairs had two preschool children, a very sweet family.

That could be nice to have the floor to yourself if that is what you like. We live in a subdivision. If I had it to do all over again, I would move some place away from people who live so close to me. Can and is annoying here most days.

At least it is quiet and no problems with neighbors being loud. Enjoy it while you can.
