I am never going to pay to vaccum my car again!

So, anyway I ended up with some time to kill today, and since it was a bright sunny day I went to the 5 dollar car wash in the area where I was. My car direly needed a wash anyway. So, when I get there they had a sign saying free vaccums!! I thought oh well you probably have to use a token or something after you buy a wash..no you did not need that! Anybody could go in there and vacuum their car. The vacuums are on all the time.... And to think you can pay as much as 2.00 to vacuum your car. Those days are over! I know some people probably have car vacs or use a dust buster or something...but I always use the commercial car vacs. I feel like I stumbled on a gold mine. I might be up there again sometime next week, in fact i am tentatively planning a trip. Guess who is going to vacuum their car again? Did you ever discover something for free you have paid for other times?

@snowy22315 I always recycle what I can at home so I rarely use garbage cans when I’m out.

I usually like to use car vacs because they have trash cans next to them too, so makes it easy to dispose of things..plus they have some real power.

Oh, what, wow! That's really awesome. I'm hoping that it will stay free. That sounds like the best kept secret of that area.

Yes, and I told the people who were selling girl scout cookies nearby. They didn't know either.

I never paid, I always vacuum and wash our car, I have a wireless vacuum cleaner, it takes no time to do the job.

Wireless? Really? I didn't know they had such a thing You mean you program it from the computer or something? It isn't just one that stays charged? Only wireless vacs I know are those robo vacs, and usually they are just battery operated.

@snowy22315 I am definitely making a lot of errors today.... cordless of course, not wireless. I think I should drink another coffee before commenting again on myLot.

That's good that you can vacuum the car for free. Washing cars is hard work.

The 5.00 wash did a better job than I would..and the whole process was over in 3 minutes. Plus it is kind of fun to do that. In this area that had a Halloween Monster Wash, and played spooky music and what not. The attendants were in costume. I guess the kids got a big kick out of it.

I have probably found some freebies in my time, but my brain is old and it is not coming to me, other than using my online money for stuff, that is free, too.

The freebie that comes to my mind is masks. Alot of places offer those surgical masks for free..the thin ones, and they sell them too. Why buy a mask like that when you can get one for free?

I keep a dustbuster in my trunk to use for that. But, yes, if I found a commercial place letting me vacuum for free, you bet I'd do it!

A dustbuster is OK, it doesn't have the suction of a commercial vac, nor the reach.

We have several car washes around us that have a similar situation. I didn't realize the vacuums were on all the time. I will have to swing by sometime and vacuum our van out.

Not recently. Then again, after we bought our air hawk, we don't need to use over-priced anything. We believe in doing things ourselves. Not paying for something we don't need to. Well, good luck. Hope that lasts.

My DB doesn't have very powerful suction plus the car isn't parked that close to the house..would be a big deal to do that really. It won't stay charged very long either. I have no idea what an air hawk is, and who says I didn't need it?? You do what you do, I will do what I do.
