One more post before I get to commenting on other posts and call it a night.
I'm a breakfast person so I just have to have my breakfast. LOL! Kinda tired of the usual milk and cereal routine. Oatmeal has been bland of late for my taste buds so I reached for an old favorite of mine... bagels!!!
I had my bagels toasted a bit. I like it a bit of crunchy on the top and chewy in the middle. I added two egg whites in my bagel. I popped two eggs in the microwave and when it was done I just removed the yolk for a healthier egg sandwich. To add some flavor and kick, I added dashes of hot sauce and a tablespoon of mustard. To round off my breakfast, I had some tropical punch flavored Kool-Aid.
That was my breakfast, what was yours?

Yup. I just decided not to eat the yolk. I kept it and ate it later in the day.

@LadyDuck fair point. Doctors, dietician, and nutritionists seemed to went yo-yoing if eggs are healthy or not. I take everything in moderation so I get to eat what I want but not too much.

@allen0187 I do not eat eggs every day, but I know that many Americans do. When I was a kid they said that eggs were healthy, then during a lot of years, they accused the eggs to be the cause of all diseases, starting from too high cholesterol... now they are healthy again. This is one reason why I never listen to the doctors and I eat what my body wants to have as food.

Never heard of putting eggs in the microwave but glad you had a good breakfast. I usually don't eat breakfast unless I'm up early enough too. I usually just do a late lunch and dinner for my meals. I am not hungry right now but will probably have toast or something in awhile. I love bagels too with cream cheese or eggs and bacon on mine or even peanut butter, depends on my mood.

Hmmm. That is really what you have for breakfast? And you are a breakfast person?
Sigh! I love breakfast also because of the sole reason that it breaks the overnight fasting. Which also means I could eat a cow for breakfast.
But that's a good microwave tip on preparing eggs. Bagels are okay, I guess. But pan de sal is a preference.
Oh, this is the second time I an answering what I had for breakfast. I had fried chicken and fried rice filled with garlic.

I like to mix it up a bit for meals. Like for today, it is my day-off so there is no rush. I took my leisurely time to reheat some pizza from last night to have for breakfast. Otherwise, I would have eaten the pizza cold straight out of the fridge. Not that anything is wrong with cold left-over pizza but you get my point.

@eileenleyva something similar to meat-lovers.
I want to use my time for other things so I opted for the quick breakfast with no fuss in preparing.

@allen0187 You eat cold pizza? Really? I never can. Pizza has got to be oven hot or I wouldn't enjoy the pie at all.
You are an amusing fellow, I think. You have all your sweet precious time to prepare a proper meal but you'd opt to reheat a pizza and consider it a task? That's how it sounds like to me.
But oh well, perhaps it's just your lifestyle. What pizza is it? Shrimp?

Well dear twin brother, I’m not a breakfast person and i usually skip it. I do drink my milk cereal on a weekend. On weekdays, i skip it totally or sometimes I’d have an egg sandwich.

I have not had Kool Aid in many years.
I love boiled eggs and home made bread best.
Sometimes bacon.

That sounds like a decent breakfast. I had two toaster waffles. I also ate half a cookie. I shouldn't have had it, but it was staring me in the face.
