A Decade Back Down Memory Lane

I rarely scroll facebook now but a memory about "autophagy" popped and I checked it out. Discovered 13 March is a day I actually had a decade of highly interesting memories which could have been lost if not for facebook.
Here's the list:
2020 - engrossed with the impending lockdown due to global pandemic.
2019 - added 3 new selfie to album Silver Vixen. For my eyes only.
2018 - added photos to album Rosal. Or Jasmine.
2017 - added photos to album Shrine of the Divine Word. Lenten scenes.
2016 - entered my new vocabulary - autophagy.
2015 - sumptuous lunch at Handaan. Pagkaing Pilipino.
- added photos to album My daughters Jean and Tish.
2014 - entered an image to album A Walk in the Rain.
- Pope Francis got Vatican finances straightened up.
- Pope Francis marked first year of Papacy with joy and laughter.
- NBC reported Pope Francis has got Anglicans to convert and US
Catholics strengthened in the faith.
- Pope Francis has a twit and a selfie.
- Syria's forgotten children of war.
2013 - 115 Cardinals in Conclave, including our own Cardinal Chito Tagle
- shared a nostalgic video of my daughters and my niece singing
Lean on Me.
2012 - A quip from Fr. Mike - "Forgiveness, when given, creates an event of
cosmic proportion. It restores the state of being back to how it was
originally created."
2011 - shared a picture of my elder daughter at the University of the
Philippines' Sunken Garden. That's the photo up there.
Feeling mushy.

I keep a journal. And I have those instead of facebook.

I had diaries also in the past but scrapped them out when the online journaling became the in-thing. Same with photo albums.

@eileenleyva Will never get tired of them. Still have my journals and my photos are printed and attached to those journals. But now I’m into digital planners. But i still use an apple pen to write on my digital planner, i still use digital stickers and i attach my photos in it. Never Facebook for me.

@toniganzon To each his own. My daughter prefers instagram. My sister has her storybook. I just have facebook where my friends can view my thoughts and pictures.

@allen0187 Pope Francis just refuted gay couples by refusing to give them church blessing. In the grande scheme of things, truth must be upheld.
