When life gives us a bad joke

I brought this folder of documents today before heading to work. The documents are to be submitted to the office of the cooperative where I’m a member and it was carefully filled out free of dirt, creases and wrinkles. I would like to submit a neatly filled out document every time I do this sort of thing. It should be presentable. However, I don’t have a good luck for today. While my right hand is holding the folder, I need to get some cash that I tucked in the pocket inside my bag. My left hand was not able to unzip the bag alone so I tried to support it with my right hand with the folder in it at the other end. Unfortunately, the folder slips and dropped to the ground with water able to wet the side of all the papers clipped as one. The inks from prints on the wet parts quickly scattered smearing the documents. I just sundried it for a while but it’s no longer neat and clean as it used to be.
