National Napping Day

My two cats think every day is napping day. But somebody always comes up with a name for each day it seems. Today it is National Napping Day.
This unofficial holiday was invented by William Anthony, Ph.D., a professor at Boston University, and his wife Camille Anthony in 1999. The couple wanted to help educate people about the power of a good nap and getting just a little extra rest could be important to their health.
This day is usually observed the Monday after Daylight Savings Time begins to allow sleepers to adjust to their new schedule.
So now you know, it is official. Brendel and the Dude agree.

Now why didn't they make it Napping Week and celebrate during the dark days of winter?

Funny I did go lay down for half an hour but I couldn’t fall asleep!! I guess I picked the right day for it.

I've been taking a lot of naps since this pandemic started. Like a bear in hibernation I'm ready to awake now. Sorry National Nap Day

Oh! For me every day is a napping day. I need my power nap in the afternoon or else I don't function well in the later half of the day.
It's interesting to know that there is a special day for that. I can vouch for the power of a good nap.

Like Brendel and Dude our pups think ievery day is napping day. I tried to take a nap yesterday but it was impossible (too many interruptions)

@CarolDM I'm doing okay today. I feel like I had a little setback last night, but things like that are to be expected. Overall, I think I'm heading in the right direction. And that's all I can ask for right now.
