And number eight in this series. I'm bummed that there are only three books left in this series after this, but...all good things must come to an end and all that. 
I saw that there are offshoots of this series, so I may look into them when I'm done.
I'll start book nine tomorrow I guess.
So far the Goodreads site says that I am five books ahead of schedule on the challenge. With the house being worked on and looking for an apartment and everything--I didn't think I'd have as much time to read, so I only "challenged" myself to read 12 books this year...

You are doing great there with your reading speed. And despite of all going on, you have managed to read that much. Enjoy your next book

When I was a child, I read constantly. Last year I got turned on to the Amazon Good Reads challenge, and I'm glad. I'm enjoying reading again.
I think the last time i read a book was last year. 
The longest series I've read only had 4 books.
