Today is awkward moments day. I heard it in the morning in the radio when I was driving to work.
I remember one awkward moment I had a couple of years ago. I went to my godson's birthday party and there was there a girl that I knew was pregnant, when I saw her I asked when was predicted the baby to born. She looked at me and said the baby was over there. The baby had already borned! Oh my, at that moment I only had courage to ask if I could see the baby. Her belly looked like she was still pregnant.
I have never forgotten this moment as it was quite embarrassing and awkward.
It seems nowadays there are days for everything
Do you have any particular awkward moment to remember?

I've had many awkward moments I'm sure but the one that comes to mind is this....
my friends mother in law was almost blind from diabetes. Her in laws came to visit and she invited me to come and see them. I always loved her mother in law so I was excited to go and say hello. Upon entering the room I say "hi mimi. long time no see" (once I realized that she was almost blind I felt horrible about my blunder)

Once, many years ago, there were two girls that I liked that looked almost exactly alike. One day, as I was going to lunch at a restaurant, I ran into one of the girls. I invited her to have lunch with me, and she accepted. We had a great time, and I could tell there was great chemistry between us. After lunch, I asked her if I could see her again, to which she quickly replied yes. I then said, "I had a wonderful time today Jaclyn, thank you for having lunch with me." To which she replied, "Jaclyn? My name is Christina." I had the two girls mixed up! Needless to say, I never called her again.

@nela13 I thought the same thing. But even if I hadn't said the wrong name, I still may have gotten them mixed up and called the wrong one for a second date. The funny thing is, even after all these years I am still friends with both of them on Facebook and Instagram.

Yep. That happens after childbirth sometimes. My son was born by caesarian section. Quite a few people asked when my due date was, weeks after my son had already been born.

Just recently when I dropped my phone in the cab. When the cab driver delivered the phone back to me, I immediately went down the building and opened the car. I asked "where it is?" And the driver's face was blank. When I looked at him again, he was not the right person. I looked behind the cab and there was another cab. I apologized to the wrong person. Lol

@nela13 The first cab I approached thought that I am a passenger.
