What did you have for lunch today?

I took a hike with a friend this morning in the Berkeley/Orinda hills. We did about 60 "stories" of elevation (600 feet), and got some nice views. Tonight I will practice guitar and chill. For lunch (upon my return) I had leftover sushi and some nice clam chowder from Safeway. This stuff is quite good! I just added half a can of milk and was happy.

What did you have on it? I may have a Casper's hot dog before I go to bed. Or not.

Sushi sounds really good. I had spaghetti again, it's my go to dish cuz it's so easy to make.

What "sauce" do you use? I generally use something "generic" and then "enhance" it with garlic and other stuff.

I usually get those organic tomato sauces in a jar and add things like mushrooms or cheese to it. I've tried Alfredo sauce before, it's ok but not as good as the tomato sauces.

I had one of my home chef meals, Campanell with shaved beef, mushrooms and onions and a creamy beefy rosemary sauce. Quite good

@TheHorse partially. I cook the pasta, cook the beef, slice and cook onions and mushrooms but the sauce and beefy sauce are premade and I just add them to the pan with everything else.

Haven't figured it out yet. Should I go to work, get something in the cantina, be social, use too much money etc? Or stay in the home-office and pretend to work? Then it'll be soup and bread, but I could also have that later in the evening. Decisions, decisions! It's a hard life.

@TheHorse Nah, walked to work and used to much money in the cantina. They had typical Christmas food there. Very strange.

I stayed in bed all day and didn't eat anything. When I finally got up at about 6:30 this evening, I poured myself a bowl of cereal, then went right back to bed. It's been cold and rainy here all day today, so it was a perfect day to stay in bed and do nothing and continue to let my body heal from this Covid.

@TheHorse Crêpe batter is made without any leavening agents, you have to make the crêpes as thin as you can, not thick as pancakes.

@LadyDuck Right. I think of good crepes as very thin. There were a lot of crepre places around in the...was it the late 1970s?
