I'm willing to compromise

I saw this article about foods you should not eat for breakfast to start your day. Wouldn't you know it? It had a picture of a toaster pastry that I happen to like, which I sometimes have for breakfast. I heaved a huge sigh and thought: 'OK. I won't eat it to start my day. I'll have it as a snack in between lunch and dinner.' I'm willing to compromise.
If you're eating these, it's time for a wake-up call.

Good choice for a breakfast. We alternate between rice, breads and cereal. Sometimes I'd have oatmeal for dinner.

I do not like other people to tell me what to eat, I am smart enough to make the right choices

I guess each culture has its own way of starting the day. I drink coffee and eat either a toast with something on it (cheese, avocado paste, ham). I never eat cereals. And sweet things are not for me although I occationally eat a fruit.

The author of this MSN article has lost her ever-loving mind. I will eat Froot Loops and drink Welch's grape juice any time of the day that I want.

I like those too. Used to love pop tarts.

Is that like a pop tart? I don't think I've ever tried that. Am I missing out?

When I retired, I told myself that I was going to eat my donuts or quick bread and coffee leisurely and enjoy it. I still do. I eat my other two meals sensibly. I have my decaf coffee and sweet in the evening as a meal; and I eat yogurt for breakfast. I compromised too.
